Tamil film director and president of little known pro-Tamil group Naam Tamizhar, Seeman, was detained under the National Security Act today. Seeman was arrested recently for his provocative remarks during a demonstration against attacks on Tamil Nadu fishermen allegedly by Sri Lankan navy. A special team of Chennai Police served the detention order on Seeman who is lodged in Vellore prison, police said. Source: PTI
